Many people still believe that just by putting up a web site they will automatically attract visitors. Nothing can be further from the truth. You can have the best designed site in the world, but unless you have some way of directing traffic to your web site, it is as good as invisible. In most cases this means getting ranked on the search engines and directories, where people go to find things on the internet. But isn't that what search engines do, catalogue all the sites on the web?
No. While this may have been, and may still be, the ultimate goal, search enginesand directories today can barely get around to the sites that are begging them to take a look at them, let alone ones that don't even ask. In addition, to even get search engines to reveiw your site it must be hand submitted, and submitted in the correct way. "Build It, They Will Come" definitely does not apply.
Search engine ranking is one of the most misunderstood processes connected with web sites. You may see instances of companies offering to register your site to 100, 150, 200 and up search engines for bargain prices. You can even see banner ads all over the web offering to submit your site to up to hundreds of engines for less than $20. These are a form of auto submission. They will not produce results. Most of the top engines will simply toss out an auto submissions, and there is no way to auto submit to a directory. (see FAQ's page for difference between a search engine and a directory.)
Each search engine is different, each has different criteria, and of critical importance, is that they change these criteria or algorithyms constantly. To get results you must hand submit to each engine or directory. More importantly, even hand submission alone will not produce the results you are after, the code on the page -- literally everything on the page -- has to be optimized correctly.

We research the market, optimize the web page code -- the titles, descriptions, meta tags, alt and comment tags etc.; or in the case of directiories identify the category and compose the submission, and hand submit the site to 30+ top search engines/directories, with resubmits if warranted within 3 months -- meaning we don’t want to resubmit over a good ranking. Once submitted we will provide you with ranking reports and traffic analysis of your site activity, do as much page tweaking and as many resubmits, as needed during the first 3 months.
Why submit to the top 30 engines? There are hundreds of search engines on the net, 98% of all searches are done on the top 10-20 engines, submission to the top 30 engines will get you to 99%. As we work with our clients we can go further into the dynamics of search engines and how they operate.
Today nearly all of the top search engines and directories no longer accept free submissions from commercial sites, but charge a submissionand review fee. We will provide a list of the current submission fees required by various engines and directoreis to our clients when the site is ready to submit. Clients may decide in the case of each of the fees, if they wish to pay the fee and have us submit to each of these particular engines and directories.
